Thank God I blew a fuse in my appartment that afternoon-went downstairs to fix it-bumped into my neighbour (a fellow Zappa fan)-asked if she was coming to the show the next night-and she told me about this little publicized, intimate event with just an hour to spare! If I'd missed it, I would have spent eternity kicking myself with a lead filled snow shoe! I LOVE ELECTRICITY! :-)

This is VALUEABLE for me! Thanks for posting this. I learn so much about music when the artists take some time out and breakdown their technique for the creation of their music. Steve Morse is another incredible teacher. Earlier this year, I gave up on alternate picking after seeing a Frank Gamble video ( " Concert With Class" ). I basically turned all my Paul Gilbert licks and changed up the picking patterns. I am no where near where I need to be in order to play this stuff fast. Oddly enough, playing sweep picking stuff has helped my legato playing at the same time. Thanks for this and thanks to Dweezil for making me practice again. . .and again. . .and again. . . .
