Oh cool stuff! I hope to make it to one of your concerts soon, I had a lost opportunity a couple years back, but I'd definitely appreciate it more now that I'm further immersed in the world of Frank's music. Maybe some year I'll even make it to Dweezilla... a guy can dream can't he?

I do. There are a few clips you can check out right here on the site.

That has to be one of THE coolest effects I've ever heard on a guitar! Do you actually use that setting in concert, Dweezil?

These sounds that Dweezil programs in the fractal only gets more impressive with each and every addition. Like a painter with a palate of colors. It's all very vivid with life.

Thinking back to the guitar interface for the synclavier, Frank never was impressed himself to use that. The delay time for when you hit the note and what came out of the amp that was just not a good thing for what Frank was looking for. What Al Dimeola did with it back then was interesting for it's time but what Dweezil is accomplishing today is in another league and stratosphere. I know nothing of midi_Guitar these days but back in the late 80s the guitar interface was just not responsive. As a guitarist you just did not get the immediate attack and decay. It could at times remind you of Cheese Wiz.  What Dweezil is programing not only sounds authentic in comparison to acoustic instrumentation or amplified acoustic instrumentation but you can tell it also plays as such.
