Really feel like I'm living in a Woody Allen movie again - and not one of the early funny ones.
Just got Mrs Jaws a belated "extra" Christmas present - a Sony Micro HiFi system with built in iPod dock. Ok .... its for me too :) Dweezil blasting out as we speak.
I have nothing at all against those who are teetotal, but I'm really glad that the annual torture known as "Christmas Eve dinner with Mrs Jaws' extended family" is over. One year I innocently asked if I could bring my own wine and was asked "Why?". Lack of alcohol isn't the only reason why I hate this annual gathering but at least I can now relax with a beer or two and some junk TV. Tomorrow its the more traditional Christmas Day dinner with wife, daughters and young Paws. I'll be busy oooking it but what the h**l
Thinking its probably best to keep clear of The Meeting Place for a while.
Looking forward to seeing Yes Wednesday night. Hoping for a really good Yesshow with some familiar and new Yessongs.

Just heard this week that after 36 years in the organisation, I'm facing redundancy. Hopefully commonsense will prevail and I'll still be in a job. At least I have good support from our Ambassador.
My daughter's boyfriend dared me to admit that I enjoy watching "The Gilmore Girls".
Vacation Part I is over. Back to work tomorrow (Monday 18th). Another week off from 8 August.
2-day public holiday, the long weekend starts here. And hopefully a return to cycling.
I wouldn't say I'm bored but life seems very empty without confirmations to plan, exams, OU courses, cycling (still raining), etc. Pink Floyd marathon todady - trying to get through all their albums (I'm missing only one - "More") - in no particular order. Ummagumma playing now.

Philip's confirmation weekend has arrived. 4 guests from UK get here tomorrow. Dinner for 25 on Saturday. Ceremony on Sunday. Bankruptcy declared Monday.
