Been finding and downloading covers of "Blessed Relief." There's some really good stuff out there. Lots of covers of "Peaches," too.

Posted a review to Amazon.com of the CD "Frank Zappa's Jukebox." It's a collection of many tunes that Frank said had influenced him. It's a good one to get if you're hard-core.

Got 2 FZ t-shirts, an FZ book and a "Got Frank Zappa" decal for my car. Thanks, Santa!

Saw ZPZ in Coventry on 26 Nov, to cap a perfect day in the UK, driving through the country, visiting Rugby School, staying at Coombe Abbey. Thanks again, guys.

I dig the new site look, and the color palette, but had massive log-in problems last night, and am having resolution problems this morning.

I only have to update my status 200 times to get 1000 points--yes!

Disappointed no one has made a comment on my new super-cool image.

And another five and we're there. (Yes, I am that pathetic.)

Brown shoes DO make it, as long as you're properly coordinated.

Less than 200 points away from 20k lifetime points--who's gonna help a brother out?

Helped my daughter with her high school German homework the other night, and in the context of conjugating "to be," had occasion to use "Du bist ein sofa" as an example. Yes, FZ can be applied at all times in everyday life.

Changed my profile picture to a piece of FZ-inspiring history, if you can read that tiny red writing at the bottom right.

Have re-fallen in love with "Any Kind of Pain," specifically the smooth FZ solo versions from the 1988 tours.

Listening to the original "Watermelon in Easter Hay," and shedding some tears with this magnificent music. I wish you were still around, Frank.

Ah, the beauty of the Pat Metheny Group's "San Lorenzo." It's been too long since I've heard it.

I strongly recommend Liquid Soul's "One-Two Punch," if anything for the track "Peanut Head."

I'd forgotten all about Don Henley's easily forgettable "Johnny Can't Read" until just a couple of days ago. Wonderful 80s pop, especially that fade-out "Waka waka waka!" Who knows that reference anymore?

Can't get Mancini's "Lujon" out of my head, one of the most mysterious and evocative pieces of music I've ever heard.

Uh, I mean, I got tickets for the 26 Nov show in Coventry. ZPZ: I'll have you know I'm giving up seeing the Barbarians play South Africa at Twickenham to attend this show.
