Saw the Hamsters last night in Farnham. It was, as usual, brilliant fun. Slim had a cold so we had to do some singing for him. He dedicated Voodoo Chile to me (I was standing right in front of him and the stage is only about a foot high) "because I've never seen a lady in a Zappa T-shirt before [Broadway the Hard Way grey sweatshirt] - it's usually just geezers. Zappa was the man". On the way out later I wished his cold better and he said he really loved the t-shirt and Frank was a hero of his.
