I am a Homebrewer. I brew listening to FZ then drink my creations listening to FZ. Favorites include: Song - Inca Roads (of course); Album - toss up between YCDTOSA (the whole series) and Civilization Phase III; Guitar solo - Fire and Chains; Drummer - Chad Wackerman; Bass line - The Ocean is the Ultimate Solution; Singer - Ike; Instrumental - Weasels Ripped My Flesh; Concert - Poughkeepsie, 1983 and ZPZ Seattle, 2007; Video - Bill Bickford's Baby Snakes; Quote - "Where did they go..When did they come from?"; Of note -- I have 114 FZ albums and no bootlegs. - updated over 2 years ago

Hobbies:: I am a Homebrewer. Ever heard of ESB and IPA?? I make FYU -- F**k You Up. I have a 6 tap beer fridge and a brewery in my backyard. Ouch. I need me a beer and it's titty squeezin time!
Television:: The Red Green Show (Canadian TV). All other tv is crap. Pure.....Complete....Unadultrated....Crap.
Movies:: 2001, Pink Flyod Pulse, Run Home Slow - if you havent do so now, BABY SNAKES, Caddyshack (just try to name a better movie - you can't)

Books:: A Confederacy of Dunces (Toole), Galapagos (Vonnegut), Tipping Point, Robert Service - The Creamation of Sam McGee and anything by Farley Mowat. The River Why. I also read business books and books and articles on Frank Zappa!

Did anyone else notince this? Moterhead Sherwood passes on at age 69:

Jim 'Motorhead' Sherman from Frank Zappa's Mothers Of Invention died on Christmas Day at the age of 69.

Sherwood was the sax player and vocals and vocal sounds effects for the Mothers and played on the Zappa albums '200 Motels', 'Burnt Weeny Sandwich', 'Weasals Ripped My Flesh' and 'We're Only In It For The Money'.

He also appeared in Zappa's films '200 Motels', 'Video From H**l' and 'Uncle Meat'.

After the demise of The Mothers Sherwood occasionally got together with other ex-Mothers and performed as The Grandmothers.

Shewood and Frank Zappa were childhood friends. They met in 1956. Jim was in the same class at school with Frank's brother Bobby Zappa. Jim and Frank first played together in 1964 in Zappa's very first band The Blackouts.

He joined the Mothers of Invention initially as a roadie and contributed sound effects to the first album 'Freak Out' in 1966. In 1967 he became a full-time member of the band.
