My first Zappa experience would have to be as a pre schooler, maybe about 4 years old and hearing funny songs that made me laugh on a home made tape my dad made, I vaguely remember laughing at one because it sounded like it was being sung backwards, more than likely it was Ya Hozna, and more than likely extra hilarious to my mother, who was from Germany...and I remember wanting to hear it again.
I also remember Joe's Garage cover on vinyl and being intrigued as such a strange cover, obviously not targeted at a tot like me!
