I agree with you. I saw the RTF/ZPZ tour three times and didnt ever catch the full RTF set.I did love seeing Stanley slap away at the bass, but their show just felt so contrived. They would play the exact same set every night, and even the banter between songs was the same. They are amazing musicians, but it felt stale as there was no improv. I did love seeing Chick PLay with ZPZ and am sad I did not get to see Frank Gambale play with ZPZ. I felt as though Chick, Stanley, and Frank were the highlights of that band.
