I'm hesitating re: Dweezil as Beck's opener. I read somewhere that ZPZ as an OPENING act is a short set and although I realize JB is one of the greats; I'm just really picky about when I'll venture into freeway traffic in LA. I'm at least 2 hours.
But get this, I AM going to UCLA tomorrow night to hear the UCLA Woodwind ensemble do "Dog Breath Variations" and hopefully other works of Frank's; along with a couple of still-living contemporary avant garde "classical" composers, Steven Stucky and someone known as Schwantner.
FZ lives on in the rarified atmosphere of classically acclaimed and accepted academia!! But WE'RE not surprised, are we! I will only miss Frank standing up there with the baton!

I'll post a "trip" report soon.
Yes, I surely do love me some Chrissy Hynde. You going to JB and DZPZ in LA in April? Is Hamet far from LA?

Hope you've had a good Zapped up day.
The ZPZ (live) is going to be up to Dweezil and company, the FZ records and the titties are in MY hands.
Here's to a wonderful 2010 full of FZ & ZPZ and some tittie too.
Take care.
