Interests:: Drums, Zappa, talking to nice people.
Hobbies:: Drums, playing X-box with my nephew who beats me every time.
Television:: Modern Family, In The Middle. Big Bang Theory. I never really am home to watch too much tv as I have a "core" background part on a fall tv series called Body Of Proof with Dana Delaney. I play a recurring Medical Investigator.....kinda like being on stage with all those lights and cameras....fun!
Movies:: Lord of The Rings, Platoon, Glory, oh there are so many dramas. Silly films too like anything Monty Python, Galaxy Quest, Ron Burgandy Anchorman.....the sillier the better!
Music:: Zappa, Adrian Belew, The Who, Bowie, Floyd, James Brown, Albert Collins, The Holmes Brothers, etc. (not to mention Ruth Underwood was a huge influence on me at a young drumming age). She rocks!!!
Books:: The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant.
About me:: I learned how to play drums since age 14 when I was trying to impress an older drummer at school who liked Frank Zappa. Needless to say, I learned just about every song I could, starting with the Black Page drum solo. (well, my version anyway....lol). But because of that I have been playing in rock bands all my life, gigging, recording and touring and have been called an "amazing" female drummer. Very nice, but I just love to be on stage and have fun. Saw the Tour De Franc tour a few years ago and loved Dweezil and the band's versions of Frank's songs. So happy you are keeping his memory alive.
