dang..was just in London and did not realize that you..a Zappa friend were right there! Not to worry...returning asap!( a few months after shaking down the $$ tree) and will hopefully be in touch....
I didn't receive any official notification of the Roundhouse Zappa events even though I am signed up for everyhting. I have booked tickets but I was a little late and didn't get very good seats. :-(
After tonnes of shows I finally caught one of the t-shirts thrown by Alex before the encore. I was front row at the Quebec show. :-) I saw them in Sarnia, Ottawa, Toronto, Quebec and Toronto. I drove 2000 miles and ate loads of poutine. :-)
It's my personal favorite for CD of the year, and I have LOTS of Cds from this year. Hoping to score the new Avenged Sevenfold with Mike Portnoy on drums, next month!
It's a scan from the current Rush tour programme (I followed them around Canada last month and saw the five shows they did). The nice people at Cygnus-X1 scanned the whole thing and I cropped the picture of Neil in his diner: http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/rush/imagedb-tourbook-time-machine-tour.php - It takes a while to load.
LOVE your profile pic! Where did you get it? I too am to a major DT fan. Saw them with Maiden a while ago. John just kills me with his playing. Take care!
Have a great Zapped up weekend.
Take care and best of health to you and yours

No she didn't!...I hate it when that happens (in reference to wife taking house & guitars)....not that I ever had a wife....
thanks for the compliment, yes Neil Peart is great, but Zappa drummers even better! (Ansley Dunbar, Bozzio, Caliuta, etc).
and nice to meet you too. :-)
Hi Mark, nice to meet you !!!
Thanks for the advice, Mark! I need to work out how to leave SWMBO in Big Sur and get to Baltimore on the 19th September! Have a great weekend, Tom

Hey! Really nice to meet you! :)
Don't know squat about fashion, but the dog could find food and women. No wonder dogs are known as man's best friend.
