- About me:
Professional musician since 1965. Began playing violin at the age of 7, then piano at the age of 14, guitar at 15. I sang as lead singer for a few Vancouver bands when I was growing up there before moving to Kelowna, British Columbia in 1976. Played with a power trio called "Jagged Edge" formed in 1988, disbanded in 2002.
Other instruments played: sax, drums, bass, flute. I began singing at a very early age, having been taught by my father, who sang opera throughout Europe's concert halls before and after WW2 before moving to Canada from England, inspired my cousin Sarah Brightman to sing when she was very young. She eventually married Andrew lloyd Webber and he built her career up to where it is now. I am currently doing some writing on my own, but am preoccupied with moving to Ontario with my wife and daughter to a better music scene where I am looking forward to playing some good classic rock again.Cheers!
