Everyone who has ever welcomed a baby into the world, looks at that baby & wonders what he/she will be when they grow up! what they will look like, what they will do in their life. A parent looks at that baby & wonders if He/she will be one to make a significant contribution to the world!
Little did Aunt Rosemarie & Uncle Frank know, when they welcomed their first born child into the world, that he would become world reknown! My Mom said that even as a little boy, you could tell that he was of very high intelligence.
Little did I know, when he visited us for 2 weeks, from California, as an older teenager, that what I watched him do, as he listened to his records, was composing his future music, in the notebook he was constantly writing in!!!
So, Gail, Dweezil, Ahmet, Moon & Diva, even though he was taken from you & the world so early, isn't it wonderful to know that YOUR father was so loved & NEVER forgotten??!! Frank really lives on & on. And Dweezil celebrate how hard you have worked to keep your Dad & his music alive! I hope you felt that love in Baltimore last summer!

DZ, seeing your new home reminds me of "comfort food"! Dweezil, getting to see your new house colors & everyone being reminiscent of the Life magazine spread, with your Father & grandparents, took me back to when that issue came out. September is a big month for you! Birthday today & the dedication of your father's bust in Baltimore in 2 weeks!
