
My introduction to Zappa was in about late 92-early 93. I was (unfortunately) living in Camdenton, MO at the time. I heard that Steve Vai was Zappa's "stunt Guitarist" for a while, and I'm a Vai freak. So I went to a locally owned music store called "The Slipped Disk" (also a computer store). Well, I have powerpoppat.blogspot.com where I post blogs about my radio show (also accessed through PowerPopPat.com ), and now I have a blog to post my musical adventures as a Guitar teacher and Lead Guitarist!
As of right now, I play lead guitar in Out Of Focus; we're an 80's cover band that plays 80's hits by the likes of Journey, The Cure, Concrete Blond, etc. on acoustic instruments. We've hd a few shows, and are now looking for a new rhythm guitarist.
