- Music:
- Zappa (of course), Cake, Bjork, all kinds of jazz, and all the great influences and musicians I learned about by delving deep into Frank's music.
- Books:
- Everything by Alastair Reynolds, sci-fi, Non-fiction, music theory and performance - lots and lots of books. Love books. The bookstore is the one store I actually like going into. Libraries are awesome.
- About me:
Zappa fan since 1986. Saw him once at the Nassau Coliseum. Spoke to him on the phone and was a blubbering fan that got all teary-eyed and suggested he take up tai chi for his health. He asked if I could really imagine him dancing around in a room wearing a smock. I was, like, "I love you man!"
I saw myself in Seattle audience for the ZPZ 2006 DVD - now I know why my 5 year old son looks so serious singing in his school programs. We really are enjoying ourselves a lot! We're just really focused internally. Gotta let loose a little more methinks, smile, and brighten the spirit. I'm working on it.
This year's Seattle show (2010) at Moore Theater was awesome. I know I smiled a lot, because I could dance in the aisles and not one custodian bothered me, I saw lots of bouncing heads in the audience, the band was smokin' hot, and it was awesome!

Howdy! I've got one of those Fender Pro 185 amps too!!!! I don't find too many folks around that have em. IMHO, they are great amps.
I have chronic pain problems. Are there any of the internal martial arts you would think helpful?
