You'll enjoy your magazine when it arrives, it's so purdy and reviews the entire Zappa catalogue.
Motorway incident was frightening, a car infront of me broke stupidly quickly at full speed and made me swerve and nearly hit the central reservation.. you should of heard the noise that came from my tyres, ghastly! I thought afterwards.. "phew ..be calm.. you're still alive.. YES!" I bet you don't have that problem, living in London like? As that looks like the most horrendous place to drive in the WORLD! If it's not cars, buses or taxis there it's those crazy cyclists!
Heather was her name and loved the Rolling Stones, we split as you do (1st love syndrome), and four years later I heard that she had commited suicide. If only you could turn back time, she was so vibrant and exciting.
Regarding MOJO! No!!!!!!! still waiting. Hope things are cool with you and what's this about motorway madness?
Great story about your first Zappa gig David. So did the girl you were with enjoy the gig too? If so, she was a keeper! The show sounded excellent, I could just imagine you being slightly alarmed at the circus people before Zappa took to the stage thinking you were at the wrong gig. Have you got your copy of Mojo yet? Lx
David! I've found you! I couldn't get our conversation out of my head about your copy of Lumpy Gravy after the gig. Have you got a picture of it on here? Was great meeting you at the gig.. did you know the guy who's keys I found? He told me you told him to come find me.. he planted a big kiss on my cheek when I handed them him, he was over-joyed.
Hi David, thanks for joining the group. The numbers are begining to mount. It will be good for some get - togethers -
Hopefully members will put ideas forward as to what they want to do but in the meantime the 'Worlds End' Pub in Camden is the unofficial meeting place.
Wow what a set list so far, can't wait till you get to Brighton. Met the Dweeze after the Albert Hall gig way back when. What a guy, still took the time to speak to this old codger.
Thanx!
Thanks Lisa, all sent up and ready to roll.
