It’s been raining here everyday for the past 2 weeks but my family is still high, dry and safe. Now we have tar balls washing up on our shores as well, got to find a new vacation spot. :(
Hey Deafdog, I agree with everything you are saying! I've seen every itteration of Dweezil and the ensemble and right now they are at a point, a moment perhaps, where the band just gets better and better. In the past a lot of the energy and punch came from the FZ alumni. Today the band doesn't need a "prop" they have the eyebrows ... it's a great time to catch Dweezil and the band ... I did see and meet Buddy Guy this year! now there's another one of those must see shows, Leslie West, Canned Heat, the Winter Bro's .... a greta man once said "Music is the best" couldn't agree more!
Deafdog, the Barcelona´s concert was broadcast on Spanish public television (TVE.) Being repeated several times ... I know that some have asked this television and this concert has given them a free copy of it ...

Sadly, it looks like no Irish gigs this year but... on the up-side my brother and I are flying to the gig in Liverpool 25th July. We’re really looking forward to the gig. Sadly, I have to admit that my wife does not worship at the altar of Frank.
I have spent many hours working on this problem and was about to give up when one day recently we were driving to her folk’s house. Carolina Hard Core Ecstasy was playing in the car and out of the blue she said “I don’t mind that one”. I was overjoyed even though it was the smallest of breakthroughs.
She surprised me even further a day or two later when she correctly identified a piece of music I was playing. Well, when I say “correctly identified” what I mean is she said “that’s Zappa, isn’t it?”

Hey also no connection, but my wife & I saw Dweezil on Saturday night. Shocking, electrifying, Absolutely Amazing. New mixes in the works, all working to perfection. We had such a good time.

Holding each other, being excited driving home to see Each Other,were all Gifts, Gifts that I miss incomprehensibly. I think most of all is the deafening silence without the Music of Her laughter.

Hello again Becky. Traveling to Arizona this weekend. I do have a nephew who lives in Brentwood that I should drop in & see sometime. The last time I was in CA. was 7 years ago. Around Mt. Shasta, off some logging road, at a camp. Friend got married there. He rented the place for the weekend. Cabins with not much heat, but a memorable time. Take care, will write again sometime.

The San Diego Zoo is still awesome. Yes. The Wild Animal Park is even better. You should come check it out some time.
