Like I always say, if we all liked the same music, there would only need to be one song. What fun would that be. I like that a lot of my music is not liked my the main stream. Or should I say even known to the main stream.
Kind of silly, but probably true that those two egos will probably never see eye to eye. I am with you on that lineup. Classic hard rock. I love Rainbow even if most people have no idea who Blackmore is.
Pretty cool yo uwere able to meet the man in black. As fas as the ogre. I saw him once storm off stage only to return to take Rogers bass while Roger played guitar. a bit of a temper, but I aam sure one on one if you are not Ian Gillan he would be a pleasure.
Nice to see a Blackmore loyalist. I saw Blackmore for the first time in 76 with RJD singing in Rainbow. I was able to see Blackmore maybe ten more times in Deep Purple MK42 or something, when he came back in the eighties to play with them. I would consider going to a Blackmore's night concert, but there isnt many Castles around these parts to perform in.
I just saw on some comments that you caught a Dio tribute with Glenn Hughes. I once was able to see Glenn Hughes at a Bolin tribute back in about 97. I would have loved to seen Catch the Rainbow. One of my favorite songs by Rainbow due to RJD's voice..
It is a Fender Custom Shop model. Clapton used one in the 1960's early sixties Tele body with a 1950's style Strat neck. Fender actually made a few custom order models in 1966 like it. Tommy Bolan used to have a Strat with a Tele neck on it.
Hi Paul could be gig of the year Larry Carlton is playing a very small gig in a small town on the Ayrshire coast in October, gig has came about as Martin Taylor-a famous acoustic guitarist in these parts -lives in that area-wonder if I request him to play The Pump he will oblige? needs Luke to sort that out.Hows things across the pond?

I gotta say, some of our interests are a little too close.. Amadeus..
Are you a Bolin fan. Check out the Tommy Bolin fan group we have here.
Awesome. He is a perfect example of the excess of rock and roll lifestyle. Did you hear any of his music with Chad Smith. It is pretty good.
Gary Moore too..
