Countdown to the Brighton Dome gig has begun! Roll on December 1st! Can't believe they're playing right up the road again! Wish I could go to the Barbican gig too but there's only so much the wife will take!! And by the way, do you like the picture of my son? - I wish I had the time.

- Flight of the Conchords and of course The Simpsons, plus some other silly shows from the UK.
- Movies:
- Love US comedy from the last 100 years! + the Coen Brothers are geniuses (or is that Genii?). Also love world Cinema, especially Takeshi Kitano and Wim Wenders and the early Surrealists.
- Music:
- Zappa is a continuing obsession, obviously. Also Beefheart, They might be Giants and Talking Heads. Also the Golden Age of Hip-Hop (?-1993), especially Public Enemy and KRS-One.
- Books:
- My Wife is Swedish, so right now Steig Larsson amd Henning Mankell. Also George Orwell and Hunter S. Thompson.
- About me:
30 something Zappa fan living in the UK.
That's right, we're a pretty rare breed but we do exist!
Been to every ZPZ gig in London UK so far, even once on my honeymoon (what a wonderful wife I have)!
Currently teaching my 1 and a half year old son about the most incredible music ever created by man.

By the way, I have some paintings like the ones you described. They also got to paint a table. The same table I got to paint when I was a kid.
