Yes it is a bummer - but far from apocolyptic. It just makes me sad to miss this as I had blocked it out last summer and changed summer vacation plans to accomdate the original dates. One of my best friends is having a special birthday party at Tanglewood on July 4th and James Taylor is involved.
Still in the working stages, the final outfit will be a Bettie Page Zombie as I am attending a concert by Southern Culture on the SKids in honor of thier new CD "Zombified" Rockabilly Zombies....
You're quite welcome. When I do think back on high school I have come to the conclusion, at least for myself anyways, that yes, grades were nice to have A's, it was good to be a good student..those things of course make your parents happy but what I took away from all that was the ability to be able to learn and retain the pertinent information needed in life. I felt as those high school was just a process to help you decipher what knowledge is useful for you.
No, I do not use algebra on a daily basis, I also do not speak French on a daily basis either but...all that came in handy when I tried out for Jepordy. ;)
Out of all the schooling I had, well the 12 years of pre-schooling before college, I would have to say those last 3 years were the best of all. Try to enjoy them and savor them as those will be the last 3 years of your life where all you are really expected to do is learn.
Very good Carmel, hope to see you , the parental units and your chucks soon.
I am excited Carmel...will you, The Padre and The Madre be at the Englewood show? :)
Just passing through.
Hope you and all yours are good and well.
Take care .
