Back home.... After 8 shows in CA/AZ. I will miss SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much Scott Thunes' playing and personnality... He's the man. And I love sooooo much this band ! Thanks again for accepting me around. I'll post many pictures soon
All done. The ZPZ tour still has one show tomorrow but I'll be on the plane to Europe. Tonight was absolutely brilliant, but unfortunately, this was my last show. Until july, Dweezilla 3, I'm coming !!!
Just got back from the Napa show. What a wonderful day... We got to hear Outside Now and Cosmic Debris at the soundcheck. And during the show so many things happened... Ride My Face was dedicated to Scott's wife... Incredible drum solo by Joe, and after he was over, Dweezil asked him to do more solos impersonating some famous drummers (Bozzio, Colaiuta, Dunbar and a couple of others). Best day this tour so far for me, it was soooooo emotional to hear Outside Now completely improvised by the band. And Scott is THE MAN.
In San Luis Obispo right now, just got out of the stage setup. Tiny venue, it should be a fantastic show ! And got the last rehearsal yesterday, the band is soooooo hot (and Scott Thunes is specially great, to say the least !) SLO Brew show tonight, San Diego tomorrow !!!
Great news today : I jkust got my new Axe FX II for Christmas, and I got final confirmation that I can go to the US in february for the ZPZ Tour !!!!!
5 shows in 6 days for me, and everything got better and bigger every day ! Thanks SO MUCH everybody in and around the band for making me feel like home.
24 hours to go until I board the Ferry to the ZPZ UK Tour !!!!!!
