    I visited Partinico today and saw the home of my great grandfather replete with outdoor iron hook for donkey parking. My sister Diva and I met the mayor of the city who organized a little ceremony with a bambino choir singing an ancient Italian hymn and we were both given scrolls documenting the gift from the city of honorary citizenship in Partinico. Quite a day in Sicily.
