George Duke with Al Jarreau

Went to the NYC Blue Note to see Al Jarreau with the George Duke Trio (an amazing Terry Lynne Carrington on drums and Mike Mason on bass). Looking forward to it - first rock show I've been to since ZPZ. I loved the Cars back in my HS days (daze). That was before I knew Zappa's music, which I started listening to in college in '86. Too bad the show is Showbox Sodo though. That place is in serious need of acoustic treatment. Showbox at the Market would have been awesome, love that place.
