Hi Friends,
I'm excited to share with you that I've just become involved in the production team of a Documentary on a very inspirational musician. For now I cannot tell you who but suffice it to say he was an amazing guitarist.
I am really honored to be asked to be part of the team and I look forward to helping bring the musical details of his life story to the screen, especially for his family.
Regards, DZ

Hard to believe that Randy still has that drawing power to fuel inspiration. Shows anyone that his playing is that amazing and eloquent at the same time. And I still can't believe it's been over 20 years that he's not here anymore. Randy was a favorite of mine but in a different manner of inspiration. I used him as a model to bring my own playing out of ruts. But his playing just set the world on fire. I just finished reading Rudy Sarzo's book of life on the road with Ozzy when Randy was still alive. It's hard to believe that some crowds didn't dig what Ozzy and Randy did from those first two albums. But Randy was excellent. It feels good to know that no one will forget him--proof positive that talent with depth will always be around.
Great, i really look forward to seeing that he was such a great player whenever i hear him i ask myself i wonder what he would have gone on to do. Those Ozzy albums must be around 30 years old now,did you ever get chance to meet him Dweezil ?
The guitarist I'm referring to drastically overhauled and transformed his own playing in a short period of time between projects. He has always been an inspiration to me and most particularly for the process I described above. When I set out to do ZPZ I knew I would have to do what this guitarist had done. I knew it was possible because he had done it and I was motivated enough to do it myself.
RANDY RHOADS.
Just occured to me. Lenny Breau. Just missed the Lenny Breau Project concert at the University of Maine at Augusta. If you need a place to stay in Maine you are always welcome.
Woooo, looking forward to it.
