Looking forward to it - first rock show I've been to since ZPZ. I loved the Cars back in my HS days (daze). That was before I knew Zappa's music, which I started listening to in college in '86.
Too bad the show is Showbox Sodo though. That place is in serious need of acoustic treatment. Showbox at the Market would have been awesome, love that place.
I do plan to do my quirky dancing / xingyi / tai chi thing so if you see a weirdo like me, it's probably me, and do say hi or something. Especially if I have a too serious look on my face - it means I need a big smile reminder!

After The Cars I headed over and caught Black Angels, which was another great show. I'm glad I had my musician's earplugs with me. They were loud.

Cars are cool. I heard them on KLOS(LosAngeles) in the late 70s before their album came out.The show was called 'Local Licks'
