What does everyone think about bringing the like button back, minus the dislike. I find it to be a nice way to give praise to a photo or comment without having to go overboard on words. It is a nice gratification for the person posting.

Like or dislike is a lazy mans way to comment.I'm a positive kinda guy and "like" would be fine by my lazy a ss. :)
@ Mars,I agree about the emoticons looking rather bleary.There's a site BBP turned me on to that has the most far out emoticons I've seen.It's called Deviant Art.It's .net or .com (dA) I plum forgot which. ;) {-
Of course, there is nothing wrong with posting a comment if you like or dislike something. I certainly did it, not for the point value, but to show how much I appreciate stuff on this site.
I "Like" thepoodlebites way...just write "Like"and post it...I also did "Like" voting "Like" on posts I agreed with...I didn't use the "Dislike" because my mother always says "If you have nothing good to say,don't say anything at all"...but of course sometimes negative thoughts sometimes do make it out,I try not to but it does happen.........(sigh)humans are so complicated...
I am actually kind of with Jim that I liked the dislike too. Now The old Pope just dislikes like...
