Dweezil Zappa World

So. . .what does one listen to when you are working a job that can sometimes beat you down, if you let it? How about these little audio artifacts:

Dweezil Zappa's " Return Of The Son Of. . ." Yes, ladies and gentlemen. . .this little jem helps out with my audio improvisational needs of the day! Despite the fact that most of us have heard these compositions in one form or another, this audio jem certifies that Dweezil is really a wonderful son who glorifies these compositions, songs that will outlive us all. From the opening bells of " The Deathless Horsie " to the heartfelt and final " thank yous " at the end of  FZ's " Pygmy Twylyte "  what we all have is a nice little vacation to the heart and soul of THE American composer. It doesn't hurt that his son thinks he's pretty gosh darn awesome as well, thanks to DZ's improvisational delicacies.

After that, I need a FZ and DZ break. What to do? How about a DRIVE THROUGH. I'm needing some nachos. What comes up out of my bag? Why it's ZZ TOP's " XXX " Phatback. Low level geetar frequencies galore here--thanks in kind to the Revered Willy G. Think Barbeque and Nachos together and you get this lovely audio slice of heaven. " Crucifixx-A-Flat " is one the best grooves laid low down by the boys from Texas. I can just smell that beef cooking on that grill.

But back to work after that lovely morsal. I need a desert. For last measures, I try on Zappa's " Philly 76. " A wonderful audio creme brulee!! My favorite, " Advance Romance " is chillin with Patrick O Hearn's bass protuberances. I'm loving it.

After that, back to work. But there's always tomorrow. . . .
