DZ, I caught your show in Brighton and you and the band were great! I was sad to see you have to deal with the abusive idiot at the end of the show, though! What a a-hole! I thought you were very gracious and he was a nightmare. Sorry, not all Brits are selfish idiots like him!!!
Really looking forward to the Roundhouse birthday sessions! cheers, Tom
DZ,
I can imagine, sort of, what you are going thru since I have experienced it myself with 3 girls and 1 boy. I'm shocked as I didn't know 'til today 07-30-2010. All I can suggest is for you to seek the Lord! As He is the great "Consouler", Comfortor and Rest/Peace you are seeking in this time of upheaval. I do not know your beliefs, however, I was not a saved person until after my problems also. We all have a "God" size hole that we try to fill in many ways, whether we want to admit it or not. I pray you will find Christ, for He is the answer you are yearning for. I am not a Bible thumper, hardly. I find it hard to explain something that you must experience on your on terms as it differs based on the individual. I'll will gladly talk to you about it if you so choose. I want the best for you and your family as I have watched you grow up as a fan of your daddy since the early 70's. I'm 50 now.
May God Bless you and your family DZ, We (all fans) love and appreciate you and your tireless efforts! Sorry for any spelling mistakes. You have performed some of the best concerts I have ever witnessed, including Frank's, as I have seen b…Read more

Hope all is well with you Dweeze, loved the Brighton gig, you and the band rocked, you must all be feeling the pressure of touring at this stage. Keep safe, take time for yourself and see you when your ready.Music is the Best!
When I backpacked around Europe I didn't hit "deep sleep" for nearly a month. Too exiting I guess. Keep trying to turn the brain off and relax. Your fans care about you guys. You'all (music) are the best!
I feel your pain. My sleep patterns get twisted around pretty frequently. Another downside is I can't nap; I always either feel worse after or it turns into a full blown sleep which messes me up even more. In the end I just end up staying awake until its the right time for me to sleep again.
Hi Dweezil, I hope you've managed to get some better sleep since your last post. Not sure how you manage it. I get tired just traveling on my holidays with the family. I'm very much looking forward to seeing you in Cambridge, UK on the 21st. Take care and enjoy the tour.
Idon't know where you get your energy but being the only one awake would be great for me- I like my away from people time. Sounds like you're getting back into the grove- hope you get lots of sleep and undisturbed practice time. With your discipline, hard work, and (Ihope) love forwhat you're doing- you;ll only continue to improve. My husband and brother in law wouldn't play a lick for you unless you paid them. Oh well- hang in there- your show is fabulous and I know your fans love you...
Yep, touring can make you crazy... I noticed on the tour dates only a rarely days without concerts. Even for me gonna be a bit tired being in Pistoia saturday and Milan sunday. You need some good hollidays in Portugal ;-)
I like the part where you said "get a few new songs together". Always exciting to watch the evolution of the band take place. After G-spot Tornado, and Billy the Mountain, it would seem that there is nothing the band cannot conquer. Hope you catch some much needed Zzzzz's.
Life on the bus/touring it is what it is...life for you has taken a turn or two over the last year and you know it will get better....lots of things on your mind this is what is keeping you up try not to worry to much as you have a great band and a great life.
Just be your self and get ready for ACT 2
Thanks for the show in Vancouver last month really enjoyed and it look forward to the next...maybe in Kelowna ? Yeah? and remeber the golf invite is still on.
enjoyed spending a little time with you and the band! thanks for what you do DZ we really appreciate it! Home soon! have fun enjoy and try to get some sleep! BTW come back and see us soon! sleep well!
You are absolutely right. Life flies by and the tour will be over in the blink of an eye. Any hints to us where the fall tour will take you and your weary companions? I've been to three shows this year and would love to get an idea where I'll see you guys in the fall. Take Care and Be Safe!!!!

Hey dweezil, get some sleep and I look forward to seeing what the band has in store for everyone this time around. Taylor
No Sleep I know what it feels like, P90X is that anything like a telefunken U47?
cheers
Slopey
It's tough going through a no-sleep deal. Maybe have some wine, or more down time to unwind might help. Stay well!
I wish you sleep when you need it.

Sending you restful thoughts! Get some sleep.
It's better the loud drunk voices are outside the bus than inside your head!
You should make a movie called 200 buses.
