Hey Everyone,
I've had a number of people asking me what I having been doing for a fitness routine. When I was in bad shape before no-one was asking me these kinds of questions.
Since people have noticed a recent change I'm happy to share the info on what I've been doing.
Beachbody's 10 Minute Trainer is a really effective workout. I struggled a lot with it in the beginning. I was pretty out of shape. Worse than I even thought I was to begin with. When 10 minutes was leveling me I knew it was a wake up call.
As I lost weight and got more fit I moved on to the next challenge which was P90X. This is a serious challenge. It is do-able but you need to be ready for it.
I've definitely slimmed down and developed some serious core strength. I have done all of these workouts using only the different resistance bands and the pull up bar. I don't have free weights.
I might try doing another round using free weights to see what kinds of results I might get that way.
Anyway I'm sharing this with you to let you know that it is possible to do these routines virtually anywhere. You don't need more than 14 feet of space. I've done them on tour in horrible dank dressing rooms. I've even done them outside our tour bus in parking lots. If you're motivated you'll find a way to do them. You will get results too, because these programs, if followed carefully really produce amazing results.
If anyone is on a fitness kick and wants more info or help getting started let me know. Or visit http://teambeachbody.com/dweezil for more info. I'll be happy to answer any questions about either workout program.

I've been on the fence about ordering the 10 Minute Trainer package but with fall/winter coming up it's looking like a good indoor option. Question though. How hard is it on the knees? I'll be 42 next birthday and my knees aren't what they used to be. I want something to keep me in shape and out of a knee brace if you know what I mean.
Hi Chris,
There are some audio cues and even a separate trainer track with audio that coaches you through more specific parameters of the exercises. I am not sure it's enough detailed description throughout without the video the though.
about either of these programs, do the dvd's include enough verbal instruction that one does not have to see the happenings on screen? I'm blind so yeah ... lots of audio description is a good thing.
Thanks so much man. It has motivated me to get started and I stumbled on it at a time when I needed something very much just like this to get back into shape. I travel a lot and just riding my bike hasn't been doing the trick. I've gotten started on the 10 min trainer path and have been very impressed...and sore (but in a good way !!) As a 41 year old traveling sales guy I just have that lifestyle that makes it hard to get into and stay in a fitness routine so your story really rang true. Thanks for the advice !!! \m/
I'm with you David; I turn 40 in October. I ride my bike every day and get other exercise throughout the week, but am limited as I have a seriously bad knee. I need to find something that will get me in shape.
