Requesting a DZW Guitarist to perform the Allan Holdsworth Accoustic & Electric Guitar Parts to 'Nevermore" from the UK Album UK.

I would feel extremely confident if this was placed in the hands of DZPZ Guitarist Jamie Kime. Does a DZW community member have the chops?

Beyond me I'm afraid. I saw this band live, been a Holdsworth listener since. I'm still glad I sound like me tho'.

Holdsworth is one of the top guitarist in the world so there's only going to be a few under any circumstance that will ever be able to get there...Jamie's obviously one of those few but does he have the time???

One that comes to mind is Paul Bielatowicz - he plays in Carl Palmer's band and he plays all the complicated and funky stuff Keith Emerson did on his synthesizers - check him out on YouTube. BTW - UK is one of my favorite bands - touted as the last of the true prog rock band...it's a shame there's only 3 albums...I was thrilled they had reformed around 2008 or so (going by the moniker UKZ - all top flight musicians) but they're very low key it seems...only one show in America Frown

Brown Shoes - I responded to one of your post (Cat Stevens) - just for continuity here - Robert Fripp had Bill Brufford a few years in his King Crimson band (early 70's) - Eddie Jobson played for Zappa before he foRead more
