What a fantastic photo. Nicely conceived. I seriously want one of those picks.
I bought the box of FZ picks with the album art on at the Roundhouse concert last year and one of these would be a perfect addition. Are they commercially available????
Dave, you made a couple of picks for me a while back and they are WONDERFUL! I used to have a tortoise pick when I was a kid, and I have always tried to find something that could replace it. Well, your pick did the trick!
Talking about HARD.
My son, knowing that I like to play with very very hard picks brought me a beautiful white pebble from the beach, a few months ago.
Well, took a bit of time till I got used to it ... a FAN-TAS-TIC pick.
(Merci Louis !!!)
This is indeed a Red Bear Classic, in Extra-Heavy gauge, with right-handed bevel and grips. You can contact me here or via our own site at www.redbeartrading.com if you are interested.
I take it you won't be liberally tossing those out in the crowd. ;-(
Very cool though. So is the lighting, it almost looks like it is floating and back lit.
I always forget what gauge they are. Dave Skowron is a member here on the site. He hand makes these picks. I'm sure he would have the answer as well as how to order if you're interested.
I've been using V-Picks for a few years and have considered trying the Red Bears. How long does one of these picks last with a lot of use? I can get 4-5 months out of my V-Pick Dimension. Cool pic btw!
Reminds me also of the white plastoid Wegen picks you can find hereabouts in the Lowlands of Europe. I'd be anxious to try out one of these Red Bears too, i wonder which kind of pick-model this is? (maybe i'll order one/some to try 'em out)

It looks like a Red Bear Classic w/Grip Holes or a Red Bear Classic II w/Grip Holes with the speed bevel heavy gauge.
Sweet!
