Congrats on your two daughters Mike.
Hi Mike - are you ready to upload audio and video tracks to the box yet?
Hope all's well with you there - news of the floods has mostly dried up over here so I hope it's the same with you!
Hi Mike - I've posted a video on Whata-woot and sent you an invite to the backing track in your drop box. Let's see who come to the party!
Hope you're not getting any backlash weather from the floods and you're keeping safe
Hi Mike
Good luck with the sight reading! That must seem unnatural when you've been playing for so long - I learned how to sight read for flute, cello and bassoon in my youth but that was from the start of learning the instruments so I guess it came easier. Never learned for the guitar and I've always hesitated to begin the process as I'm so long in the tooth, so it will be interesting for me to follow you progress.
Didn't want to seem presumptious as the DZW project is your baby, but I'd like to post another 'backing track' for a DZW collaboration, this time asking directly for all guitarists who seem like they may be interested to contribute. The track is pretty basic and each section runs for about 10 bars separated by a 'chorus' and so everyone will get a 'verse' of noodling (or more if they want it) to play.
The idea I'm suggesting this time will be for contributors to upload their mp3 (or whatever format they use) of their section together with the video clip taken while they were playing it onto your central 'drop box' (again, not wishing to be presumptious but it worked fine last time) and the piece will then be ed…Read more

I think this is probably closer to your original idea anyway. The only limiting factor will be guitarists who a) are up for it and b) have a DAW and webcam.
I've approached one guy over here (PurpleGuitar) with the idea but wanted to see how you wanted to run with it from here on in because, as I say, it's your baby.
Let me know
