I saw Pat's show last night, and it was great. His Orchestrion concept shares quite some ground with Zappa's Synclavier work. Except here: No samples. Only real instruments electronically triggered!

Mike and Bryan plays Zappa

A track I did last Christmas. It contains some quite difficult marimba/vibes sections. But an (almost) virtual band pulls them off every time.

A big band arrangement of "Perfectly Square" by Henrik Jensen. A bit (?) Wazoo inspired, not even closely up there, of course.

My own endeavor into Xenochrony. A humble homage to Frank.

Good to hear you are doing well, Geoff. I just had a tooth done today - these things are unavoidable. I am doing fine, spending more time practising the guitar than composing for the moment. Trying to learn some jazz, so I've been listening to a lot of Wes Montgomery and Grant Green lately. Nice stuff!!! Cheers, HJ

Thanks for your good wishes HJ. I'm doing quite well now, I've been back at work for a while. Currently I'm labouring under some dental surgery, a completely different problem, but I can still work and should be clear in a week or so. How have you been?
