The Wall will rise and fall in Los Angeles tonight.....really wish I was going.
The L.A.Lakers playoff game and the L.A.Dodgers game will let out around the same time as the Wall show does. So the freeways will be packed late tonight!
The Rogers Centre seats 55,000 people .... For the Dark Side of the Moon finale it was packed and Roger put on an amazing show. I hung out with Dave Kilminster after the show .....
I purchased my seats from Roger Waters purchased the cheaper seats instead of the full price $250 seats. I was hoping to sit about 50 - 60 rows back. When the tour began in Toronto way back when I sat in row 30 and it was hard to take in the full spectacle of the Wall. This time the wall is bigger, with more visualizations and I end up ....... in row 14 .......
Just bought my daughter a pair for her 23 rd birthday .... shhhhh she doesn't know yet. I bought her tickets to Dark Side for her graduation .... what a great dad eh .....
and no she's in the nose bleeds for the show .........as for row 14, I have an extra ticket, can you believe it ROW 14 ........................ got an offer? email me
Robbie WyckoffWe just arrived here in Buenos Aires early this morning after our last show in Santiago. We had such a great time! We were there for 10 days. The people & fans were incredible and so nice!
Our 2 outdoor shows in Santiago were amazing! We have a new much bigger wall, it's massive! There's new footage and close ups of Roger & the band throughout the show on both ends of the wall. I even get a couple of close ups. There's a much larger pig balloon too. It's twice the size of the other one and spans about 60 feet across. We sacrificed the poor piggy at both our shows, it was devoured by the audience of about 45 thousand fans or so and quite a sight to see!
from Robbie's Facebook page ... can't wait to see this one .... again
Row 12 for me .... wanted to be back farther from the stage and I ended up closer .... come on June .... do you thing DZpZ will head north in February ?
They are only using half of the L.A.Coliseum. I saw the 'Delecate Sound Of Thunder' Pink Floyd tour here in the late 1980s,the stage was all the way to one end. 90,000+. This Wall show will be about half of that and cheap seats may be good for the price. This show is very do-able.
I got 2nd section of floor seats at the Rogers Centre in Toronto close to $150 each .... should be far enough back to take in the entire wall and will either be left or right of the soundboard !!! June 23 ..... see you there ???
