I'm glad for the doctor. He doesn't deserve that pressure.
On another note, today msnbc is reporting marijuana doesn't affect lung capacity or function. Study was done over a 20 yr period. In some cases lung function improved. People who smoke cigarettes however their function got worse. This study was reported by JAMA on Tuesday.

I see in 2012 The Netherlands is going to stop foreigners from using coffeehouse to buy marijuana and smoke it there. Starting in the south and working out. By sometime this year even Amsterdam will be included.
The city is opposed to this action because it will lose 2 to 3 million euros a yr from toursit spending.
The Christian Democrat party is responsible for this new trend.

Interesting news article on yahoo and AP today. The Gov's of WA and RI are petitioning the Federal Government to re-classify marijuana from a scedule 1 drug to a schedule 2 drug. The difference is that then doctors can write perscriptions for its use. At the time of the article the Gov's from CO and VT are considering signing the petition. Others Gov's have not made any comments until further looking into it.
Also the State of Wi is looking to introduce a bill to legalize Med marijuana.
All of this good, but the Feds still have to decriminalize for any of this to do any good.
