Great show..Every Sunday night!

Zombie Strippers is a must see for the pool ball scene alone!

Watching Season 1 of The Vampire Diaries at the moment.  Another take on the vampire genre - sort of Twighlight meets True Blood.

Steve

I had seen It Conquered the World years ago. It was one of those bad movies you just have to see. And it also starred a young Peter Graves, (of Mission Impossible fame). I always liked "The Blob" with Steve Mcqueen. That was classic.

floss

Did anyone ever see "It Conquered the World"? I spotted it on VHS about 20 years ago and bought it for mr floss as one of his xmas pressies. We were both so disappointed not to see "about this much 2x4 at the back of the thing as the guy is pushing it out". I guess we needed a widescreen version to see it. My favourite horrors are Alien and Aliens and The Thing. I loved te book of The Shining but didn't rate the film. Although I really liked Jack Nicholson at the time I thought he was far too over the top mad to be believable and so much stuff wasn't in the book and would have been better out of the film. The fake snow was lame and Shelley Duvall was just annoying. As for favourite vampires I have to say David Boreanaz and James Marsters! I remember seeing The Scars of Dracula at the flix when it came out and thought it was scary. On seeing again a decade or two later, not so much! Ha ha! Starring Dennis Waterman pre-Sweeney, and Jenny Hanley who was a children's TV presenter on Magpie! The bats were absolutely pathetic and the blood was like custard. FZ would probably have liked it. Also like Predator. Cool group - jRead more

Hostel didn't arrive! Shame cos I ordered two Dweezil CDs as well. Next week perhaps. In the meantime I'm watching an Italian mini-series about Pompeii badly dubbed into English!

Danny B

The line in Torture Never Stops about the midget with the bucket always reminds me of the midget in Bloodsucking Freaks.
Was listening to Zombie Woof!!

jaws

Just ordered Hostel. I guess I'm going to have a very disturbing weekend!
Danny: isn't the "midget with a bucket and a mop" from Toruture Never Stops.

Steve

Plan Nine was one of the best bad movies I've seen. Another was "The Thing With Two Heads" with Ray Milland and Rosey Greer. They don't show it on tv anymore, I had to buy it in order to see it again. Worth the money though.
