Thanks Dweezil. I'm really getting into health. Especially organic foods without pesticides. Look forward to networking.

P90X is the way to go!

Blah, swimming and walking is what I am reduced to. That’s no fun but I got to listen to the Doc.

Holy snikies!! Guess what P90X will get you? Pregnant!! It took 7 yrs to conceive my first child and 6yrs for my second wasn’t planning on #3. As you can see it is not easy for me to have children so I wasn’t so careful once or twice and it didn’t concern me.  I still need to workout but not so extreme, what should I do now being prego? Any ideas?

Plyo metrics today, hard on my knees but good to get the heart rate up!! Got a little dizzy today during some of the exercises, maybe I had low blood sugar. I wanted to do this one  on an empty stomach.Doing my best and forgetting the rest!!

Sorry. . .I meant P90X. Good grief!

For me and my weight loss, I had to experiment a little more than necessary. I found out that if I cut out the more oriented sugar and dairy products, not only do I feel better but have WAY more energy. Plus, no caffiene at all and I drink about 2 liters of water daily. I get lots of excercise on the job that I do. But the meal plans was the hard part. But now, I am steadily loosing about 2 pounds a month ( for the record, I started my weight loss back in Decmber 2008 where I weighed at 232 pounds. I now weigh between 177 to 179 ). I am hoping to get to 170 by the end of summer when I start my swimming program in several weeks. PX90 was cool to check out. But with my schedule ( which is pretty challenging in itself ) PX90 wasn't going to work for me personally.

Any idea if there is a vegetarian version of the shakeology diet?

yes, great new photo!

I never bought the TMT...I opted for hula-hooping instead...great workout, btw!  Smile

In addition to my Karate workouts I  was about add a band type of system to my overall exercise routine. Unfortunately a dislocated knee with ligament trauma has put a halt on all such activity. Great new photo, very inspirational.

I'm working out right now. I'm doing Upper Plus from P90X plus. It's pretty brutal.

I've been on a treadmill everyday and on the days that it's warm enough I swim laps. Once I feel like I get my energy back up I will dive back into P90X c. I love the cyber support here, thanks Beastrow.

LAM,

Sorry it's taken so long to respond, (I read your post on the 21st, but haven't had any free time to reply till now) and sorry to hear about the bumps in the road.

If it makes you feel any better, I've been absolutely religous about my P90X, but have had numerous slips when it comes to the diet. I had Taco Bell for lunch once last week and ate about half a Papa John's large pizza a couple of nights ago. I try to justify it occasionally using the fact that I'm actually a bit UNDERWEIGHT right now, but I know it's not the right thing to do, (for health reasons, if not weight). However, I try to use how I feel afterwards as a catalyst for pushing to do better the next time.

If the P90X thing has you down, maybe you could try switching back to 10 Minute Trainer for a while to keep the routine, but give yourself a little break. Don't know if it's true or not, but they say it takes about 28 days to build a lasting routine in your life. Doing a month or two of TMT might help you shift back into that mind set to help you transition back to P90X.

Anyhow, hang in there girl. Post or PM if you need more cyber support!

started P90x a couple weeks ago...been doing it every day in my dorm room! I love how minimal equipment is needed and I can do it in a small space. so simple yet so effective

Sorry guys that I haven’t had any good news to report on my p90x progress. I had such great results and was so full of confidence that I thought nothing could stop me from meeting my goals. After having a string of bugs and illnesses and an injury all confidence and want to is totally lost. I am sure I have gained a few pounds back and some of my health issues have started to return. I need to start back again in the worst way but I need to find the want to, confidence and will power that I had before. Its just not here in me right now. I feel so beat down, like a junkie that returned to using after getting clean. I have never done drugs in my life but that is the best way I can describe it. Stupid food is my drug.Cry
