The Life Of Geoff Pointer

Okay, after posting a comment in the Guitar Group I realised it was a bit big amongst all those other comments. So I'll try to keep my comments brief and have expanded stuff about myself in my own blog.

Hey Geoff,

We will be back in Australia in April 2012 but unfortunately not Adelaide. It's up to the promoters as to where we play.

Frank had talked about it in an interview on the radio we heard. This was 1976. My brother was Frank's engineer, we knew to listen because Frank told him about it. PS When I go to leave your page, you have that Burgandy type against a dark gray background-very nice color combination... Reminds me of the Album cover to Arvo Parts' Passio! Nice Les Paul, p90 @ the neck? & HB @ the bridge, cool finish too.

Maybe from Facebook?

When I met Frank, back in the day, I thought briefly about wanting to learn how to compose...Umh? Too A.D.D. for that, my disciplines are with Art and Photgraphy. But I did buy a book Frank had been talking about... Musical Notation, by Gardner Read. Frank thought this guy's book was the bomb as far as proper notation etc. was concerned, percussion in particular. I did start listening to Classical stuff much more back then, who are some of your favorite composers besides Igor and Edgar?
