I know it's your website, Dweezil, and you can do anything you want with it, but I kinda resent being censored. It's not like I'm gonna string together fifteen four-letter words just for the pure joy of it. But my normal style of speaking and writing has a few s***s and f***s and damns in it now and then, you know? And how did your dad feel about censorship? I especially feel sorry for any guy named D**k. He gets circumcised every time someone uses his name. OUCH!
You got away with it because you didn't spell dammit right. I think pluralizing also fools the dummy, like I've got the s***s.
I kinda agree it is a bit ironic give my understanding of FZ attitude on censorship. However I also think FZ would appreciate a filter that cuts down on the idiot factor that plaques so many forums on the internet and unfortunately censorship is an aid to that. I think it is hard in this day and age to strike a balance.
I've written about this before. This site is hosted by another company called Grow. They have a filter for all content on their site because they service all kinds of corporate entities in their business as well.
I can see everyone's point about censorship but to me it's really not that big of a deal. We still know the words you're trying to use. In general it keeps everyone on their best behavior. I like that aspect of it. I'm not a fan of the sloppy abusive writing style that is so pervasive elsewhere.
