How many bags on tour?
So on the average how many suit cases do you guys take on tour? Do you use dry cleaners or actually have to go to a laundromat? Or do you have a machine on the bus?
I usually bring 2. A small one and a big one. No more than 2 weeks worth of clothes at a time. The small one can get repacked and brought into venues for showering etc. We usually only have hotels once or twice a week. The rest of the time showers and all of that happen at venues or day rooms. Glamorous, huh...
On tour with drum corps we used to sleep on the gymnasium floor of the school we were at and when ever we would get a couple days in one spot they would use one of the 4 buses to take members to laundromats. (its a little different when you tour with 120 -150 member of your corps or band)
I witnessed Joe Travers meeting with a dry cleaning van before a show at Cleveland's Cain Park. Not sure if he was picking up or dropping off. Whatever the case was, it was a great show and the entire band certainly looked clean.
It is interesting stuff. Getting a behind the scene look at the off stage lifestyle of the pro musician, is part of being a fan.
When I was a construction worker, once I overheard a coffee break conversation about fabric softener.
I can say firsthand that sometimes ZPZ does not even have access to showers. I know as Erica and I graciously took a member back to our hotel room so they could shower.

I like Dweezil's New Balance trainers which I think he has a few pairs of.
I wonder if the guys often buy items/clothing from various cities If they find the time ?
