I'm just trying to see who records out there and what DAW program you use to record and produce your music?

Dweezil

I use Nuendo and Cubase.

I wonder what your dad would think of all the multi-tracking software on the market today.  Would he be excited about the idea of more artists being able to track their own music?

Bobby D

i have used protools, cubase, and logic over the years.

but i have recently been using a REALLY good one called REAPER -- and it's FREE to try, and only $60 to have a fully licensed copy!

very impressed with REAPER for so little $$$.

FL Studio is the best... in my opinion.

I use Logic Pro mostly, and occasionally GarageBand.

Cakewalk Sonar user here... it's the only DAW currently accessible for blind folks like me. (long technical explanation not included) We are slowly getting access to Pro Tools, but it's a few years off yet.

I been using an old 8 track machine that records onto cassettes. Its alright but i think i need to move into the digital realm. Anyone i talk to about recording software always suggests Pro Tools but im not sure.
