Dweezil & (2 guests)

Which two artists would you like to see appear/play on stage with our Dweezil.
Mine would be (this was after a good think)...
Nuno Bettencourt and Sammy Hagar.
Nuno and Dweezil giving it guitar heaven while Sammy blasts out some fine rock vocals and riffs.

Who's yours ?

Shawn Gurule

I would like to see Dweezil with George Lynch and Neil Peart. That would be an awesome combination.

Prince, Neil Young. Think about it.

Dweezil

We used to do a brief medley in the early 90's called Crosby Stills Nash and Prince.

Along with Nelson/Phillips and REM-C&C-Hammer-Music Factory.

While in the past I have made it well known of two guitarist one being Frank Zappa's first Famous Italian Impossible Guitarist and but also Jeff Beck my desire is fro a situation of mass media exposure in a situation where the event, special guest and DZPZ are all in harmony to help raise global awareness of the music in general.

One such event has been the Experience Hendrix Tour that has been out their for the last several years.

I could see DZPZ performing at a very special event for that show but being part of a grand historical event with massive exposure. DZ can play The Jimi Hendrix/Frank Zappa Strat for their part of the program that would several Hendrix songs & FZ songs that FZ had performed with Hendrix/Zappa Strat. Dweezil would be teamed with Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page & Eric Johnson for a Hendrix Numbers that is part of a grand finale with a Hendrix Selection, Zoot Allures, Watermelon In Easter Hay being part of the DZPZ section of the program.

Then another scenario getting raising mass awareness would have DZPZ having a extremely popular lead vocalist such as Tina Turner, MiRead more

Weird Al needs to come on stage!

Another person I really want to see perform with is that wild and crazy guy Ahmet Zappa! I have to say that Ahmet is one of the funniest people I have ever seen. What a card. I think he and I would have been good friends had we grew up together.

Mine is easy (& rather boring?) I'd LOVE to see Dweezil on a G3 bill. Only it would have to be (a first) G4 with Buckethead doing a set as well. This would be a true dream-come-true for me. Joe, Steve, Dweezil, and Buckethead... pure heaven. Who would be their individual bands? For Buckethead I would hope: Brain - drums, House - bass (Giant Robot line-up) for Dweezil? Pete - bass (well, duh!) and Bozzio - drums (again, duh!) and Jamie - guitar. This would kick a whole lotta a$$! What songs? Ahhh.. therein lies the rub. So many to choose from. Dweezil: five-five-FIVE, Black Napkins, The Ocean Is The Ultimate Solution. For the 3(-ish)-song jam at the end (with everyone): maybe Joe's Garage, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Runnin' With The Devil - Eruption - You Really Got Me.
I'd need a cigarette after that.
