I only wish I was born a decade earlier so I could have met him :(

I remember hearing of his death on CNN. I just had watched 'Does Humor....' and saw the news when I stopped the video.

I wonder what Frank would have thought of/done with the internet and new distribution methods of his music. What kind of music he would be playing or conducting. What kind of music/lyrics he would have written during the Bush/Clinton/Bush/Obama administrations.

But we still have his music.

Props to Dweezil for keeping his legacy alive.

Does anyone else remember where they were when they heard the news?

I posted something earlier, but it didn't seem to post, so forgive me if I end up double posting.

I remember hearing of Frank's passing on CNN. I just had watch "Does Humor..." on VHS and saw the news report when I turned off the player. It was very surreal.

I wonder what kind of music Frank would be playing/ conducting if he was still alive. What he would have done with the internet and the new ways of distributing music. What kind of music/lyrics that he would have been inspired by the Clinton/Bush/Obama administrations.

But at least we still have his music to listen to and be inspired by.

Kudos to Dweezil to keeping his legacy alive and introducing Franks music to a new generation of fans.

I remembering getting a phone call from John Nelson of The Meridian Arts Ensemble where he informed me of FZs passing. Later that day I was driving my car around with the window open and their was a sense of solitude in the air that was magnified by Franks being in everything and anything.

We all tend to see life through a lens. The Singular Eye. Tempus Fugit travels in linear time but when all dimensions known and unknown collide everything becomes ever clear. This is where on this day of Franks passing everything was clear in all dimensions.

So here we are today.
