Hey everyone, i just joined and had to comment how damm great this show was, killer set list, great crowd, great for it to be at the roundhouse and the smile on my face when Gumbo Variations opened the show was almost as big as when Muffin Man closed it. Thank you Dweezil, Gail, Moon, and everyone involved.

Can we have a DVD of this please!!

Toads Of The Short Forest

I was totally blown away last night - these guys just tore the roof off. I can still feel the energy of the night flowing through me.

Dweezil and his crew run a seriously tight ship. Some incredible link ups with Frank on screen, I can't believe I was there to witness all this - Apostrophe, Montana, RDNZL, Baby Snakes, Valley Girl... Every song was a highlight.

There was a lot of laughter, and some very touching, tender moments. I welled up a few times watching Frank on screen, and just thinking about all the love that people have for Frank and his family.

The whole night totally blew my mind. It was cool of Dweezil to come into the crowd afterwards and say hi and do signatures.

I really really hope a DVD is made of this and The Yellow Shark performance from Friday!

Thank you Dweezil, Gail, Diva and the whole Zappa ensemble for choosing to celebrate Frank’s 70th in London. And please… come back next year - we’ll do it all over again!

MUCH LOVE x

Richard Drakes

Was anybody else as excited as me to hear Excentrifugal Forz?? I never thought I would hear that song played live and I LOVED it!

Great to see you here Nile. It was a pleasure to meet you and Ed, and it's very reassuring to know that Frank's music is so important to the next generation of fans.

Twisty, look out for some Scott and Simmons stories soon.

You played the whole Aposrophe album! It must have been a really great show!

At 5'4" I could barely see a thing, but the sound quality was great, the set list inspired, and to see Moon join the band on stage and perform Valley Girl made My day.

My thanks to all who were on stage, the band themselves, their special guests, Moon and Matilda, Diva, Noel and the boys in the Mighty Boosh Band, You all did Frank's memory proud, once again, Thank You All.

MrDo

WOW!,what a set list!...unfortunately I didn't attend(I'm in the USA), I just wanted to put my 2 cents in on that set list...and I didn't know about the live stream...I'm going to the Boston show at the end of the tour...I hope the Gumbo Variations is played that night...

AHHHHHHH! The greatest weekend of my life. Man Dweezil, the phrasing, he's more fluid than jeff beck, you better believe it. Just bought tickets to some classical stuff next weekend so looking to keep the buzz alive. Please do it again Dweezil. And THANK YOU SO MUCH! (shout outs to David/Richard/Tom/Reishtak/Carol/zappateers etc who made the weekend that much more special with a little zappafan community)

That is so great to hear Richard. Many of us were able to watch the live stream of hte concert and had a great time doing it with our friends from this site. It was such an exceptional song list, and such an inspired performance. You who made it are very fortunate to have been part of suce a great evening in London. Looking forward to some stories form the night.

Richard Drakes

Just arrived home from a phenomenal weekend. As yet I don't have the vocabulary to describe how good it was, but meeting everyone involved, and all the great people from this site (David, just another noodler...what a guy) made it an event that may never be surpassed.

Lots of stories and photos to follow.

Twist and Frug

Best set list I have seen ZPZ play. I wish I could have been there. It was great watching the live stream of this concert online with all of the others from this website however. I wish we could do that for everyone of their concerts..

Now the Apostrophe(') is complete... St. Alphonso have some representant to have his Portuguese Extraction :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Requests, I would like to listen Filthy Habits and the last song of the evening: STRICTLY GENTEEL!!! That would be awesome.

See Dweezil? This time I don't have strange requests :)))))))
