I'm usually VERY finicky about acoustics and sound at shows, but I was on the lower level and I have no complaints!! Not perfect but I guess I was just too lost in the fact I haven't seen a show since half a year ago and I was in the middle of one then. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and special thanks to Ben and Shiela on the encore, didn't feel so bad that I was one of the only ones that stuck through shakin' my stuff 'til the end! Ben, you are only getting better with each progressive show! Hamming it up and even more musical involvement...MUSIC IS THE BEST, well done guys.
Maybe enough has been said about the sound, but it was fine on the first level. We were about 10 rows back directly in front of the PA. I have to agree that Joe's drumming was on fire. As amazing as each musician is, it's great to see the band continuing to evolve from tour to tour. Overall, I really enjoyed the vocals this tour and Ben looks much more comfortable now, adding hilarious showmanship, trumpet and bionic harmonica.
The show was great and I thanked Dweezil for keeping his word on the tickets for those of us at Diesel last year. The music was great but up in the balcony, all the vocals were lost. Couldn't hear or understand a single word. I spoke to the sound tech and he said it was a horrible room to mix sound in. The balcony was too high to throw the sound up and the Palace had no means to 'fly the speakers so he did the best he could. Also, he was mixing in the left rear of the room and said all he could hear was bass. He needed to be in the center of the room with the audience, in order to mix the sound FOR the audience. A very nice chap who was as frustrated as the audience was with the sound problems. Otherwise, the band sounded VERY tight, Joe Travers KILLED on drums, and everyone else was superb. Dweezil played some great solos and is as nice a person as one could ask for. Signed autographs for every fan for about 45 after the show ended. Dweezil YOU ARE A CLASS ACT and your Dad would be PROUD! Thanks for coming back to the 'burg and put us on your next tour again.

dweez, show was awesome!how did you like the palace? i hope you come back again!it was my nine year olds first concert.he loved it and asked how often he can come see you.he said "maybe next time they'll play filthy habits".i'll be sure to put his request in.i was pretty excited myself to get to hear mystery roach live.pay no attention to those inebriated hecklers,we could have heard ben a lot better if they would've quit b*****n' about his mic.can't wait 'til next go round! love you guys!
Dweezil, the show was amazing. If you ask anyone in the balcony, we couldn't hear one vocal but the music as always is out of this world.
Less than 3 hours to go, beautiful day in Greensburg,PA
Thank you so much Dweezil for the kind offer regarding this years show... I would LOVE to hear Watermelon in Easter Hay or possibly Muffin Man. Thank you again, I can't wait til tonight...
Requests - Advanced Romance and Andy. Looking forward to my sixth zpz show!
Requests - Inca Roads, Florentine Pogen, Son of Orange County, Packard Goose, Daddy Daddy Daddy, "awwwwww who gives a f*k anyway", it'll all be good!
Dweezil - if you guys need a place to eat before the show, check out Robokyo Japanese Steakhouse in Greensburg. My kid, Zach, tends bar there and could hook you up for dinner. (Better than the pizza last year, I guarantee it) We both will be at the show. Can't wait till Friday!
Dweezil, thank you for going above & beyond for us fans! I was at the Pittsburgh show last year & while the music was incredible, the venue was terrible...as you know. But I never expected free tickets to this years show. Thank you so much.
see above everyone for info on this.
thanks
Info regarding ticket conversion for previous Pittsburgh Show attendees will be posted right here shortly. I believe there is plan for this and at least part of it will go like this: You will need to present your actual ticket stub from our previous show in Pittsburgh in order to get a complimentary replacement ticket.
Requesting Slime From The Video, Trouble Everyday and Cosmic Debris.
