The Paramount is a tough place: while it's nice for a sitting-only show, if you wanna be up and groovin' with the tunes, you have to put up with the constant hassling by the "ushers" that want you to SIT SIT SIT...very frustrating. The only show I was at (Paramount only) in the last few years where I wasn't hassled (or even pushed back to my seat) was the Australian Pink Floyd, for some reason it was okay to be up for that one...
Daddy, Daddy, Daddy....you got me screamin all night!
Great show and super fun time. Thanks Dweezil!
Fantastic time. Thanks for honoring your father's music. It should be on the radio! He was an innovator, composer extraordinaire, and a humanitarian. Hope the photo brings back some childhood memories.
JD Lobue, Jr.
We had a great time. The show was everything we were hoping for and more! Funny, we listed to Fillmore East driving to Red Rocks. Thanks to Dweezil, Ben, Chris & Sheila for signing all our stuff. You are gracious & generous & so superbly talented!
GREAT show tonight! You guys get better every time. Come back to CO anytime.
Just saw Pete an Chris walking around downtown....beautiful night here!
You are in for a helluva show. Great one in KC last night.
I am down in the Springs (hour south of Denver) not much word down here. I am bringing some friends up to the show though!
Can't wait
I orginally got the word through an email from AEG or something like that (concert & ticket updates) months ago. Then it wasn't mentioned on there again until just a few days ago. My Denver friend has been spreading the word also. We are 6 hours away so don't get other Denver media here.
Hey Dweezil, I really have not heard much about the show here in Denver. I think you got better PR when you played in Aspen and Boulder back in November...We'll tell our friends and neighbors and look to bring my son. looking forward to another great show..Any chance of getting word out on the radio or promoted at CSU or DU... Drew
I'll round up as many as I can!
Hello Friends in Colorado,
I've heard there are some issues with getting the word out about the show there in Denver. How is the promotion, have you seen much? Can you let me know. We need to spread the word a little more. Any ideas?
ohhh, St. Alphonzo! Yeah, that's my puppy's name! Don't drop the Zomby Woof, though, please.
I may have an extra ticket for sale, Orch C Row J Someone is really bummed they might not be able to get off work to travel to Denver!
1 week to go!
Oh, is it time for requests? I'll second Florentine Pogen, and add Inca Roads. Crossing my fingers for Zoot Allures with some Ship Ahoy mixed in - a la Memorial CD - based on the videos Dweezil posted! Who cares what they play...it's a night with DZPZ, it is bound to kick a*s!
Thanks for coming to Colorado again!
Humble requests: St Alphonzo->Father O'Blivion; Uncle Remus; G-Spot Tornado; Florentine Pogen; Sofa.
looking forward to it! hope the good folks of the Paramount aren't complete jerks about insisting you stay in your seat, cuz I can't sit during a show like this.
D**n Twist, 23...this 1 will make 9 for me! Hoping to see CO from the water on the Sunday in between the Big Head Todd show and the ZPZ show.
I am coming in on the 5th and heading to Red Rocks and then sticking around for the ZPZ show on the 7th. Can anyone recommend campsites and some good outdoor activities in that area?
I look forward to seeing the regular Zappa fans at the Paramount.. This will be ZPZ show number 22 for me, and then on to SLC for 23.. Thanks Dweezil for choosing the Paramount again.
Let me check with the guy I am going with (he is a golfer as well). Sounds like fun though!
What happened to the pre-show golf idea?
We got Orchestra Center Row J on the aisle. Taking my musician son, gotta raise 'em up right ya know!
