I applaud what you're doing and enjoyed the show. However, I think the band lacks "charisma" right now. The new singer seems awkward, and Sheila, a musical and visual asset, seems to spend a lot of time off stage. The playing is impeccable, but I think the band needs "something" to put it all together. Maybe that's why up to this point zappa alumni guest have been employed... Good luck in the future!

An excellent show as usual by the band, and oh yes the mudshark was uttered several times considering that this is Seattle and the Edgewater Inn was only several blocks away. The secret word for the night seemed to be Loverboy although only Joe Travers realized it. At one point Ben was having some difficulty with the in ear monitors for a bit so somebody yelled “eruption” of coarse Dweezil gave his Les Paul a funny you can't do that on stage sort of look and dove into it after which with a twist of a tuning peg a pseudo dive bomb was accomplished to end it all in superior fashion. Oh Dweezil you silly rabb—squirrel.... OK, I'm back now. I forgot to mention that Chris Norton you know the new guy on keyboards had just got finished singing City of tiny lights in a fashion that would have made both Frank and Adrian proud. After the eruption assault and Joe had sung a little bit of Loverboy's turn me loose. The band moved on coming to Blessed Relief which was beautiful. Meanwhile ex Mothers of Invention Jeff Simmons was lurking about in the crowd only to appear on stage with Jamie Kimes guitar to trade some licks with Dweezil and sing WiRead more

The band did one of my all time favorite songs from the Grand Wazoo... "Blessed Relief" Dweezil said that it had never been played live before. I almost cried hearing that beautiful melody coming off of the stage. Much kudo's to Ben and Scheila the trumpet and flute was amazing. I'll post some photos of this show later.

Great show! I am grateful to hear FZ music performed by you and these amazing musicians. Got home and pulled out 'Chunga's Revenge' to hear Jeff Simmons thunderous bass on 'Tell Me You Love Me'!

Ahhh... this was a great time. Finally got to meet everyone including Jeff. The whole Zappa gang was very gracious and after the show we had a great time visiting at the whiskey bar which was walking distance to the bus. A big thanks to my friend Billy who happens to hit things really well.
