I am so excited you guys came to Nashville. The only compaint I have is the set list was much too short. Please put Nashville on your next tour schedule and have a Zappa only show for us. RTF was great but they cannot take all the credit for a sold out show. I know there were a lot of people disappointed when you guys left the stage and RTF took your place. Did you guys notice how many young faces (twenties age group) were in the crowd?
Oh, and a big shot out to Chris Norton. We are proud to have Nashville represented in such an excellent band. I read somewhere he grew up about an hour from here and graduated from Belmont University. I think Chester Thompson and Mark Volman (Flo of Flo and Eddie) also have Belmont connections. That being said, Zappa and Nashville are meant to be.
Didn't realize that was Chester, was standing right behind him after the show! *missed handshake opportunity*
I did meet Victor Wooten though, that was pretty sweet.
Frank's touring drummer Chester Thompson? What a truely star studded night. The sound for RTF was fine for me, but that could've been because I was in the very back, or I've been to too many live gigs in my time and I've gone deaf. A good selection for set list in context of a follow up to RTF, hopefully you left with a few converts in Nash. I ended up sitting next to some folks that had no idea who DZ was initially. Yellow Snow and Nanook Rubs it were initially on this set list but were left out due to what I think was time constraints, in case anyone was wondering what the songs were!
chester's gorilla
Chester Thompson came to the show. I didn't know he lived in Nashville. It was nice of him to come up and say hello. He had very complimentary things to say about the whole band.
Hats off to the ZPZ sound last night. Seriously. The volume and mix was perfect for the room. I enjoyed RTF but it was too loud. Everyone I spoke with agreed. PLEASE come back again when the evening is yours. Nashville so enjoyed the ZPZ band last night! Great show! ROLLO- WOW! Cool runnings and thanks again! Kerry Stinson
Request: G Spot Tornado. The Deadman and his wife welcome ZPZ to Nashville. Check out the photos I put up this AM for some FZ/Nashville history. It will be nice to see you guys in my hometown. Our 6th ZPZ show! Best working band on the road today and I get to see them tonite!
Oh and I agree with Ryan Z, Pick Me I'm Clean would be awesome too!
Requests: Son of Mr. Green Genes and Cleetus Awreetus Awrightus! Cant wait for ZPZ's first Nashville show! Welcome to music city Dweez!
I shall be there! Got a spot up in the ultra-nice boxes.
I will be at this show and the ATL show. I love all the new songs you are playing on this tour Dweezil. I'm humbly requesting my two favorites that I missed last tour, Cruisin for Burgers and Pick Me I'm Clean. Make a nice segue between them and you've got "Cruisin for Band-aids!"
Ill be there

Are you guys headlining these shows. If so (or if you are opening with your standard three hour set), I plan to catch three or four that are close to Kentucky. Otherwise, I will probably just hit up the Nashville show. I have a hard time with the idea of someone following a Zappa show, even if they are a bunch of bad-a***s in their own right.
