My first ever ZPZ gig and second concert of live Frank music since the Ensemble Modern took some of The Yellow Shark to London's Royal Festival Hall. After reading previous set lists and expecting either Heavy Duty Judy or The Gumbo Variations as an opener I found what actually opened the show to be astonishing. How the h**l you all managed to play what you played is beyond me. Really knocked out by that. Pete Jones is an awesome vocalist and for me his performance was the highlight along with the megaphone solo during Chunga's Revenge. Bamboozled was pretty good subtly changing from the TR version to the YCDTOSA Vol 3 version. Nice to see Frank had a tartan coffee flask and a packet of Marlboro cigarettes by him on the stage. Had fun dancing in the balcony to Dancin' Fool.

A great show and great music. Hope ZPZ comes to the Hexagon in Reading, Berkshire. Though I think they should do a tour of British seaside resorts such as Hastings, Blackpool, Llandudno and Morecambe. May they also appear on BBC's 'Later With Jools Holland'.

Amazing, amazing, amazing.

Wow! Montana with Frank ... You lucky, lucky people.

I first heard Montana as a teenager in the '70s on Radio 1 during their rock Saturday afternoons. It started my obsession with Frank and a wall full of vinyl and CDs!

What an opening, blew me away from the start. 1st outings for Montana (with FZ helping out of course) and Bamboozled and with Pete replecating Rikki Lancelotti's manic vocals on Fifty Fifty made it the best gig i have seen in a very long time.

Richard Drakes

Monster of an opening number.
