I am a multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, drums, bass) who has been everything from a metal drummer to a pianist in a '50s rock cover band. I mostly play guitar now.
In my private life, I am completing my Ph.D. in British history at the University of Oregon.

Hello again. My knowledge of your subjects is poor, I regret to say, albeit recent political and economic events are pretty much on my radar. The recent announcement by BAE systems in the UK means that production of military aircraft of any kind in the UK will cease. Having produced planes like the Spitfire, Lancaster and Concorde that is one h**l of a decision. We did focus more on Scots history at school, and a change of school meant I missed out on the 19th century completely! Anyway, best wishes with your studies and greetings to you and your students from a very cold Scotland.
